Over on 14th St., DC Water is replacing major valves in the water supply system. A worker said they’re 72 inch valves, the biggest he’s seen. We won’t be over on 14th Street, but on the other end of those pipes…

…We’ll see hardware like these elbows, which will become part of DC Water’s effort to replace pipelines leading out of the Bryant Street Pumping Station.
