Create a series of type/image compositions that tell us about a notable designer or design firm. Describe the designer’s work and it has affected the broader field of design. Share examples of the designer’s projects.
Details
New for online format Create a series of 9–12 “slides” that combine headlines, image, and detail text, with headlines and captions. Format these for presentation on the social media platform of your choice. Decide on a structure for presenting these—you might make an Instagram story, or a thread of Twitter posts with images. You might need to break these up into multiple parts, for some environments.
- Include visual examples.
- Choose and design your materials with care.
- Work in any software you like.
- You’re welcome to post this on a platform, but what you should turn in is a PDF, one page per slide.
- Create a separate PDF with citations for all of your sources and images.
Do ask me for suggestions, research guidance, and advice about the presentation itself. I am happy to watch practice runs of your presentation.
