Good software-as-a-service portfolio tools include:
Self-hosting a CMS/dynamic site, or hand-coding a static site, might be a reasonable approaches for technically adept students.
Alternatives
You might not need a new portfolio site. If you would like to make minor improvements to an existing site, if your site already meets the requirements, or if your career plans do not require a portfolio site, you may seek permission to substitute alternative projects for some or all of the work.
