A note for friends and colleagues: I know many talented designers, and most of their portfolios don’t appear here. I value your work, but lists can only be so long.

Design firms, ad/digital agencies, and architecture studios. Know that what gets a design firm hired by a client is not quite the same as what gets an individual designer hired by a firm.
